I have so many pictures it is hard to decide which ones to post, so here are some fun and silly ones that never made it on a post.

Aniela's 1st birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANIELA!
April 7th was Aniela's first birthday. I can't believe how fast a year went by. She has gotten so big and has learned so much in such a short time, it really does amazes me. She has about a 10 word vocabulary right now. It is funny that with such a small vocabulary she can sure get her point across. She can say: thank you, pua pua and woof woof, ma ma and ta ta, more, hi and bye bye, ball and when she has had enough of Areya picking on her she just yells until Areya finally stops.

We had a small family party on the Saturday before her birthday so that Damian could be there. Thanks to everyone for coming, it was so much fun having everyone together. Who came you may ask?

Grandma & Pa pa Voss
My brothers & their families
My cousin Kallee & her boys
My cousin Monica & her kids
My cousin Heston & his family
(which is good because it was at their house)
Damian's sister Ida

I don't know how many of you know this but Aniela LOVES to eat. She would eat all day long if I wold let her. She is our little piggy! The funny thing about this is that she is only in the 20% for her weight. I have no clue where she puts it all.

As you can see she had no problem digging into her birthday cake. Boy does she love chocolate!

My birthday

Happy Boy Day?

Happy Birthday to me!

Okay, Okay my birthday was not this exciting but I did really have a great time.

So on Monday night Damian took me out to dinner at Outback Stakehouse and then we went shopping just to pass the time. It was really nice to have a night out with out kids. Thanks Brandi for watching the girls for us!

On Tuesday morning Brandi was sweet enough to make a wonderful breakfast for everyone, both hubbies were off, so that was a great way to start a birthday. After just hanging out for a while I put the girls down for their nap and got ready to go out. The thing I wanted the most for my birthday was a little time to myself. No kids! So Damian agreed to watch them so I could go birthday shopping.

Brandi took me to get one of my favorite lunches, an Empire State sandwich at Gandolfo's . Yummy! Then we went shopping and I got 4 new outfits and a few pairs of shoes.
I guess our husbands were having a really hard time playing mommy because they called us each 4 or 5 times to see when we were coming home. Now they have a very small idea what it is like to be a stay at home mommy.

All in all it was a pretty good day, it beats working, which is what I have done on my birthday for the past 10 or so years. Thanks to Brandi for all she did to make it a really great day and thanks to Damian and Heston for watching their kids so that we could have a little time away.

When?

I bet a lot of you have been wondering when we will be leaving Utah. Damian's transfer has been approved and he has to report to work at the O'hare Airport on April 13th.

The plan, as of right now, is that Damian will drive over the week before, by himself, and stay with a friend while he looks for an apartment. He will work his shifts and get settled, then he will fly back to Utah and we will drive over together.

We still have not found a house so after I get us settled in the apartment I will start looking for a house. We are leaving most our stuff in storage here (in Utah) and in May when Damian's dad comes over, they will fly back here rent a big truck and take it all to Illinois. I hope we will have a house by then.

It is so crazy to think that I will be leaving Utah. I am sad to leave all my family and friends but I am going to give it a try. I will miss you all! On a positive side, the girls and I will be back for my cousin's wedding in June.

Candy, candy, candy! Yummy!
I found one! I found one!

Library Thursdays

Every Thursday we take the kids to the Library for story time and then let them pick out a few books for the week. They have so much fun and look forward to it all week long.

Look how cute the boys are sitting with their overalls and Dek's arm around his brother.

Here we are playing a bit before we leave.

Brandi looks like she is having such a great time. I hate to tell her it's time to go.

Deklan was building a tower and the little baby next to him kept knocking it over.

Dallin sure is good at those puzzles.

We don't get out of the house as much as we would like so this is a great time for both the kids and us. There are other moms for us to talk to and the kids love playing with different toys and looking for books to take home.

Our little monsters

We defiantly have our hands full with all these kids. I don't think it would be quite so bad if they were a little more spaced out.

Areya is 4 and Deklan turns 4 in April. Dallin turned 1 in Dec and Aniela will be 1 on the 7th of April. They are so close in age that it feels like have two sets of twins.

One minute they are best friends, playing together great and then the next minute the are yelling and screaming at each other, saying "you're not my friend any more" and "you're not the mommy". At least the babies get along a little bit better. They share their food and hold hands while sitting in their high chairs. Each morning Dallin will go into Aniela's room and stand by her crib and say "Hi babe ba". It is way cute!

The monsters playing at the park.

This is where they spend most of their day. Sitting next to each other eating or pounding on the window yelling "pa pa". They both love the puppy.

Rub a dub dub four kids in the tub.

This is one of the good moments. They were watching a movie and Areya put her head on Dek's shoulder. It was so sweet! They are really going to miss each other when we move.

Here duckie, duckies!

It has been a long cold winter and our kids are really restless, so we took them to the Layton Park for some fun and to feed the ducks. They went through 3 loafs of bread and had so much fun.

Areya and Deklan feeding the ducks.

Me with the monsters.

Aniela loved the swings! She laughed the whole time.

Here is my cousin and his family. (These are the ones we are staying with)

Happy Birthday Damian

March 3rd was Damian's 29th birthday.
My mom and dad take us out each year for our birthdays. We get to pick where we want to go, Damian's favorite is Olive Garden, so you guessed it, we went there. He usually fills up on salad and bread sitcks so that he will have leftovers for the next day.
Here we all our! Starting from front center: Aniela, Gayle, Merlin, Heston, Deklan, Brandi, Dallin, Matt, Areya, Ida, Damian and I'm in the empty chair.

Here's my little piggy! She ate half of grandma's mash potatoes, 3 bread sticks and some of my pasta. You would think with all she eats that she would be a little fatter. Only in the 25% for her weight.
