Home for sale! Do you know anyone looking for a house in the Clearfield area? We are trying to sell our home by March. So far we have not had much luck. We've had a lot of people come look at it but still no offers. If we don't sell it by March we might have to rent it out until it sells. We really don't want to do that because we will be in another state and not around to take care of things.
The house had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/5 baths. It has a double shed with a workbench and lots of extra storage. The yard is fully fenced with a play house and sand box in the back. We got our first offer today, but had to turn it down. It dose not feel like we will ever sell our house. I guess I need to give it more time. It has only been on the market for less than a month. It's just hard to play the waiting game. I don't want to move out of state but Damian really hates Utah. He keeps talking about moving to Hawaii, which would be way cool, but is to far away from family and very expensive. His next pick is Chicago. I was hoping to move somewhere a bit closer to Utah. I guess we will see in March.

We got another offer on our house yesterday. It is a really great offer. We are going back and forth on how much of the closing costs we'll pay. We will know for sure by tomorrow. If it all works out it looks like we will be moving at the end of Feb to the middle of March as planned. Damian has still not made up his mind about where we will be moving so that is still a mystery?
Jan 18th
So it is official. They accepted our last counter offer. Our house sold in just over a month. Which is great and we got our full asking price which is even better. Talking to Damian it looks like we will be moving to Chicago for sure. He is talking to one of his friends that live there and is getting a hold of a agent over so we can go look at houses. The papers said we will need to be out by Feb 28th. That is if it only takes the month to process everything.
